We want our kids to grow deep roots in Jesus. Through biblical teaching, relationships, and age-appropriate activities, Rooted Kids helps children know Jesus, love Jesus, and learn to put their faith into practice.

Important Things to Know
about Awaken Kids Ministry

  • Two age-specific environments. The Nest serves children birth through preschool, while Rooted Kids is designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

  • A safe, secure check-in process. We use a secure check-in and pick-up system, and our children’s ministry volunteers are background checked and trained.

  • Kids are part of our church family. Rooted Kids begin the service upstairs with their families and head to their own space just before the sermon. The Nest is available beginning 15 minutes before the service.

  • More than childcare. Through biblical teaching, conversation, activities, and relationships, we want to help kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and learn to follow Him in everyday life.
